Made in the 1950's, the Remington Quiet-Riter 11 was a tough machine, compared to most of the other portables being sold at the time. It is substantial enough to earn a spot on a desktop and not be moved, but small enough to be transported somewhere if the need should arise.
This particular unit has been given a nice new look. The colors were meant to go with that bubbly look of the early fifties. I must admit though, it's hard to decide whether this is a bubble gum look, or a Christmas look. The red and green work well together.
If ordering outside the Cincinnati area, there'll be an added $30 for shipping. If you're local, call me and set up an appointment, and I can give you a full demonstration, along with a crash-course on using manual typewriters.
