This heavy typewriter competes with the IBM WheelWriter, with the added benefit of a dictionary (it beeps when you misspell a word) and line-type (you can type out a line and see it in the screen before hitting the return button, which causes the printing to start).
While the typewriter is meant for desktops, it does include a cover with a handle... but the cover is cracked, making the handle unsafe for use--turning this into a scratch-n-dent typewriter and taking $20 off the price! But all of the functions on this typewriter have been tested and work.
As far as I can tell, this typewriter was manufactured in 1988. But that date doesn't quite seem right to me because most of the ones with savable internal memory are from the 90's.
